Focus on Facts and Food for Thought

The Employee Experience Game is a board game which helps

  • HR teams and management to grow their employee experience awareness.
  • employees to share their story and experiences as input for strategy, improvement plans or policy

Teams answer questions and complete assignments within a limited amount of time. An experienced facilitator provides guidance during the game by explaining the rules and asking questions. The facilitator fulfills the role of timekeeper, jury and inspirer. We play the game with a minimum of 6 and maximum of 16 participants over 3 to 4 teams.

The tailored questions and assignments include the following three important Employee Experience themes:

  • null
    Core Values of the Organisation
  • null
    Employee Journey
  • null
    Employee Engagement

Following Completion of the Game:

You will have a better understanding of what Employee Experience means for your company, you will have exchanged knowledge, you are inspired and may have specific ideas to take the next step. In addition, you will be stronger as a team, because you will have learned about each team member’s knowledge, experience and forte. Plus, what’s very important: you will have had lots of fun!

The Game workshop of 2 hours costs €2,250 and a workshop of 3 hours € 2,750

  • The Game is played with a maximum of 16 participants in 4 teams. For more than 16 players we tailor to your needs.
  • We play the Game online or whatever location you like. An experienced Employee Experience specialist will provide guidance during the Game.
  • In the extra hour you formulate the three most important actions from the game. Concrete actions are created to take the next step in Employee Experience. The exact question is determined in consultation.

Costs are excluding VAT, costs for travelling, catering and location. The Game can be played in English or Dutch.

Highest Roll, First Turn!

All participating teams answer questions and complete assignments. The team that comes up with the best answer, wins a ‘Happy Employee’. The team that finishes with the most ‘Happy Employees’, wins the game. Just like in daily business. Beware: There are also unhappy employees in this game!

During the intake, we will get to know your organization and its challenges and we will discuss the cause and desired result after completing the game. We will make a fitting selection of questions to ensure the game is tailored towards your company and the reason why you want to play the Game. A few examples of questions and assignments:

  • What makes working for this company really nice?
  • Which are the three main reasons for employees to leave?
  • Draw the ideal work place and include five important elements.
  • Which channels do you use to contact each other? Name as many as possible.
  • What would you need NOW to be able to improve your work starting tomorrow?

About The Online EX Game

Just like the EX Game on location the online version is

  • very active and interactive
  • provides a lot of fun and
  • strengths the mutual connection between colleagues.

Teams feel connected again: participants share experiences, inspire each other, learn from each other and about the customer. Besides that, people come up with great ideas to improve the employee experience.

Practical

  • You play with 6 to 16 participants at one Game table.
  • The online Game workshop lasts 3 hours, two short breaks are included.
  • Online we communicate to each other with a video call tool like Zoom and the online white board Miro. During the Game teams answer the questions in breakouts rooms. All answers will be discussed with each other in the main room..
  • Prior to the Game, all participants receive a link to an introduction to Miro. This way they are well prepared, should they not yet know Miro.
  • Afterwards you will receive the output in pdf.
